About Me

My name is Randy Everist, but I suppose you know that already! I love music, and travelled in a quartet back in college, singing tenor. I love hockey even though I'm not that good at it. I graduated from Trinity Baptist College in Jacksonville, FL, in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in Church Ministries. I've just finished an MA in Philosophy at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC, including defending a thesis on Molinism and "divine voodoo worlds" (ask me about it later!). I am pursuing a PhD in Philosophy under Yujin Nagasawa at the University of Birmingham (UK). My heart's desire is to help brothers and sisters who have genuine questions about the faith that they either have not been able to ask or to which they have not received adequate answers. My goal is one day to teach in a college or seminary setting (I currently do adjunctively). My wife, Jodi, loves me for some unknown reason, and God has blessed us with two sons. God is good.
